Introduction
The Speech Processing Group (VEU) works on language engineering and speech processing. Its main areas of research are speech coding, robust speech features extraction, text-to-speech conversion, speech recognition, speech-to-speech translation and spoken dialogue. Its main objective is to develop verbal communication systems with the aim of overcoming linguistic barriers and enhancing the accessibility of information systems.
